This jealousy for His own glory is what Paul is talking about in Romans 1:21-25 when he speaks of the ways people worship the creature rather than the Creator. If we aren’t expecting to see the glory of God, we probably won’t. Setting forth a precise definition of the word glory, however, is no easy task.Like many other theological concepts, God’s glory is a concept that we have an awareness of without necessarily being able to describe it in all its fullness.
Look through the Gospel to see how many times Jesus and glory show up together.
Below are four ways you can tap into the glory of God by faith. Exodus 24:17 (KJV) says, “The sight of the glory of The LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount.” To the Israelites, as to Ezekiel, God’s glory looked like fire and flames. This comes as no surprise. Most often people will say that they experience God’s glory in creation. Traditional worship services often include the Gloria Patri: “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit … ” Preachers tell us we should seek to glorify God in all we do. The glory of God is more than His fullness - it is His fullness offered!
The god of this age [Satan] has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. More than any other factor comprehendible to humans that portrays the glory of God, is His unspeakable goodness. And a statement like “God is glorious” can often be ambiguous to me. There are some experiences of God’s glory that seem commonplace.
What does it mean? If you spend much time in church, you hear God’s glory mentioned all the time. However, in other Scriptures the prophet gives a vivid description of what the throne will look like in the temple. This is a very sacred thing, to enter into our Lord's private and intimate prayer to the Father.
Even though the style of his language would have changed to figurative, he too would have been doing his best to accurately describe what he saw.

And when that goes public in creation, the heavens are telling the glory of God, and human beings are manifesting his glory, because we're created in his image, and we're trusting his promises so that we make him look gloriously trustworthy. The nation of Israel saw the same thing when God came down to meet them on Mount Sinai. So that one day each sinner standing in Heaven will be there based solely on the grace of God through faith in Christ alone. If somebody says that they have never heard of a basketball — they don’t know what a basketball is — and so they say, “Define a basketball,” then that would not be hard for you to do. In conversations with other Christians, I have discovered that I am not alone. The entire throne had an amber or bronze color. God did, however, give us some ways we could see the glory of God. As I study the life of Jesus in the Gospels, I discover the King of kings and Lord of lords, exalted, seated on his throne – but also near, calling me into intimacy and fellowship with him.
