Idealism and curriculum According to idealism the teacher is the symbol or model of good character, he is the masters of all sort of knowledge, so the teacher has the central role in the teaching-learning (Singh, 2007). Curriculum: Idealism believes that the goal of human life is the exaltation of man’s personality. Education has to achieve this aim. The school curriculum, accordingly, consists of those subjects which conducive to this goal.
